Isn't there some kind of prophylactic we can add to the plastic to keep them from multiplying?

    Just when I thought we couldn't get any more remotes for our television (cable remote, TV remote, Blue-ray remote), we got a Wii hooked up to the mess, now adding a Wii remote. That's four remotes for one entertainment area.
