Nothing could be further from the truth. Every visit has been great and I find the people to be helpful and kind.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11830870.post-86417438838762564702007-09-11T20:22:00.000-04:002007-09-11T20:22:00.000-04:00I'm glad the trip went relatively smoothly. We did have a spectacular meltdown at MoMA, we spent a ton of money on hotels and meals, and Jed dealt with the stroller in the subways (I'm not particularly fond of cabs) at times it was pretty clunky.

But it's all in your perspective, I suppose. The food was good, the subway was in working order and our train was airconditioned. Meals were a little dicy, since Silas sometimes cries during that time of day, but he'd do that anywhere.toyfotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17925976386177377987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11830870.post-2326241105368269232007-09-11T09:50:00.000-04:002007-09-11T09:50:00.000-04:00It's so nice to read an account of a parent in NYC...It's so nice to read an account of a parent in NYC that went well. Most of the time, reading about NYC trips with kids results in a recreation of the worst tantrum, the most difficult thing about navigating public transportation, and the harrowing cab rides and fears of not having a car seat.

I'd like to go to NYC someday, but probably not until my kids are older.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
