I'm curious if you sold this through an agency or through Getty? I've sold a fair amount of stuff through Getty but have never been able to see it in use because it DOES always seem to be in Belgium . . . or at least somewhere in Europe.
It was sold through Getty. I rarely get to see how the photos are used either because they only tell you the buyer, who is usually an ad agency. Occasionally someone I know will see and recognize us and let us know. A friend in Maine recognized Jed's calves (and his mom's backyard) in an ad for a medical center. I happened on a snap of Ittybit in a movie trailer.
I'd just like to know because it would be a treat to see use of a photo that was paid for. Whenever I find something of mine it's because it was stolen.
This Old House magazine?
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, great dad!
The October edition.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cool! Did Jed aspire to be a model? Does he have framed photos of his magazine tear sheets up in his office?
ReplyDeleteHe's got plans to frame it and hang it in the bathroom. And although this was a US ad, he likes to tell people he's "Big in Belgium."
ReplyDeleteawesome! that is funny. you two are pretty great.
ReplyDeleteOh, how this made me smile. What a hoot! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so wonderful!
