Little nuts
Adding another recipe to the box of Things My Kids Won't Eat ...
All the better. More for me:
ALMONDOLA
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup agave nectar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix almond flour with baking soda, salt and brown sugar.
Blend in oil, agave nectar and vanilla.
Stir in seeds, raisins, chocolate. (You can substitute whatever makes you happy. Go craisins if you like.)
Press mixture into greased 8x8 pan with wet hands.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Melts in your heart, not in your hand ...
Ittybit picked up an awesome craft idea from two uber crafty (and articulate) girls in her 4-H club, who, during the last meeting, made a formal presentation of their brainstorm: Valentine bookmarks.
They cut sheets of poster board into uniformed strips, put one of the strips and quarter-sized dollops of acrylic paint into the bottom of a shoebox, added two marbles and started rocking and rolling.
A hole punch, a length of yarn and a charm add the finishing touches.
Best part?
It's only messy on the inside.
Six down ...
24 to go.
Here are some other sweet crafts to consider:
Doodles and Pillows
Wax Nostalgic
