Bedtime stories: A cautionary tale

sleep/fret, originally uploaded by toyfoto.

When the cat's away ...

The mice inhabit the bed.

And they sleep diagonally.

If sleep is even what it's called.

One fidgets.

The other kicks.

Both make the king-sized bed seem only kid-sized.

And then the mommy sleeps on the couch. With the dog.

Who farts.

And growls at the cat.

It's like sleeping in a bed full of rabbits. Great picture, though.

How is it that we continually get kicked out of our own beds? And when we are 'allowed' to stay we just get kicked.
