What did you want to be when you grew up?
What did you become?
I wanted to be a veterinarian ... a scientist ... a rockstar ... a photographer of rockstars ... and then finally an artist.
I became a small-town newspaper reporter and got to talk to a lot of people in those professions and others.
In many ways I think I probably exceeded my expectations, even if it didn't (and sometimes still doesn't) seem that way.

So many of your pictures are so great - you seem to have forgotten that you also became an artist!
I wanted to be a doctor. But I'm hugely afraid of needles and all things blood related. So I went into insurance. Hmmm...
Let see: orphan, mermaid, singer, photographer, architect, singer, writer, actor, writer. I'm not sure if I was ever seriously about the singing, I can't draw and don't understand physics very well so the architect thing was out, the acting thing I did for a while and decided I was definitely better behind the scenes and the writing thing I am still trying to do.
Wow. Orphan, mermaid ... Totally would have changed my life if I'd thought of those.
I wanted to be a stuntman as a little kid. Went to college to be a Cop. Ended up being an inside salesperson selling industrial parts!
